I have been an Alaska resident since 1973, spending most of my life in Southeast, between Sitka and Juneau and relocated to the Mat-Su Valley in 2012.
Coming from a diverse background as a Paralegal for the State of Alaska in Juneau, I started with the Alaska Department of Revenue, Tax Division in 1994, and quickly moved into a position in the Commissioner’s Office, where I worked for three Hearing Officers for 10 years. In 2004, I transferred to the Alaska Department of Administration where I worked for eight Administrative Law Judges until I left State Government in 2010, after 15 years of service.
After taking two years off and deciding which direction I wanted to go next, and knowing I did not want to sit behind a desk all day anymore, I decided to get my real estate license. I was licensed within 6 weeks. With Juneau being land-locked and having limited real estate opportunity, (more…)

From having a love of working with people with my past career of 26 years with FedEx. I was encouraged by a Realtor, my husband and I had used twice and had referred many of my friends too, that I should become a Realtor – so in 2004 I jumped in! I had lived for 7 years in Anchorage and had been a courier their so I really knew the area well.
I had also lived in Eagle River for 8 years before we relocated to Palmer. Now as a Valley Girl, I have knowledge of Anchorage, Eagle River, Peters Creek, Chugiach and have been eager to learn as much about the Valley as I can and do not hesitate to help clients from Anchorage all the way into the Valley.

My career in real estate started in November 2006, after my husband and I relocated from Grand Junction, CO to Palmer, AK where we purchased our current home. I started working for the Broker at the local RE/MAX office as an unlicensed assistant. As a result of my continued interest in Real Estate I was licensed within a couple of months.
With each passing year my desire to assist individuals and their families in making a decision to purchase a new home or raw land to build that home on; continues to grow. I’m committed to helping my clients make the best decision for them, based on their needs and desires, not mine.
